Los Angeles / Hollywood. For realizing the first European HD DVD – “Elephants Dream“ – Imagion wins several awards on the Los Angeles “DVDA Excellence Award”.
The DVDA Excellence Award, the most important award worldwide for excellent DVD realization, is assigned once a year to content owners and developers by an international jury.
At this year’s awards, on 21st June, for the first time also the next generation formats HD DVD and Blu-ray were being awarded by the DVD Association.
Imagion AG has won awards for both the major disciplines of the event - the Video Encoding Award and the Technical Achievement Award. The Video Encoding Award displays the best video transfer of a movie master on disc, while the Technical Achievement Award honours products with a special technical demand and excellent realization.
